Department of Islamic Studies

This department covers the topics related to the Islamic studies such as commentary of the Quran, principles of Tafseer, Hadees, principles of Hadees, the history of Islam and the Islamic literature. The pass out from this department is awarded the degree of Fazilat (Bachelor in Islamic Studies). The duration of this course is 8 years. to take admission in the department it is mandatory to have education at least up to class 5^th standard primary level. The age of the candidates must be at least 10 years. The bearers of the degree of Fazilat from this department are eligible to take admission in M.A. and B.A. Courses in the central universities to which Jamia is recognized.
